Caroline Levitt, a spokesperson for the White House, announced that the United States has made a "very precise and acceptable" proposal to the Islamic Republic, and Donald Trump hopes that Tehran will accept this proposal. She warned, "If this proposal is not accepted, Iran will face serious consequences; as the president has emphasized multiple times." In response to a question about reports of a proposal to Iran that allows low-level enrichment, Levitt refrained from commenting on the details and said, "We do not negotiate through the media. This decision has been made out of respect for the ongoing discussions and negotiations led by Special Representative Mr. Witkoff." The White House spokesperson also referred to Trump's stance on zero enrichment for the Islamic Republic, stating, "The president clearly stated his position last night; a position that could not be more explicit, and he reiterated that this is his official stance."
