Read the lesson

To trade on SorooshX Onchain your own wallet needs two things on the Arbitrum One network:

  • USDC, the dollar you trade with. Most of what you send.
  • A little ETH, which pays the network fee each time your wallet sends something. A few dollars' worth is plenty.

How to do it

  1. Buy USDC and a little ETH on a verified exchange.
  2. In your wallet, copy your address. In the exchange, choose Withdraw, paste it, and check the first and last characters match.
  3. Choose the network Arbitrum One. Not Ethereum, not BNB Chain.
  4. Withdraw the USDC, then the ETH, both on Arbitrum One, to the same address.
  5. First time? Send a small test amount, then the rest.

Good to know: SorooshX uses native USDC on Arbitrum One. If your exchange offers "USDC.e" (bridged USDC), choose plain USDC instead. Coins sent on the wrong network can be lost for good. If anything looks different, stop and check.

Check yourself: (1) Which network do you choose when withdrawing? (2) Why do you need ETH as well as USDC? (3) What do you check after pasting your address?
