Funding is recalculated every 8 hours: 8:00 AM, 4:00 PM, and 12:00 AM UTC. Holding positions during these times may result in a fee or a payout.
🔴 Is the funding fee a transaction fee?
No. It’s entirely separate. Transaction fees go to the exchange. But Funding fees go between traders.
