MON (7/8) 🪫 Weaknesses of the Monad (MON) Project: ⚠️ Ecosystem is still very small: ▫️ Unlike its major competitors, Monad is newly launched and lacks big dApps, high TVL, and a large user base. Without users and applications, no blockchain can achieve sustainable growth. ⚠️ Complete reliance on EVM + crowded EVM market: ▫️ While EVM compatibility is an advantage, it also means Monad competes in a market that already has many strong players. Attracting users and developers won’t be easy. ⚠️ Tokenomics heavily favor the team and investors: ▫️ 27% team, 19.7% investors, 3.95% treasury — nearly 50% controlled by insiders. Even though the tokens are locked for 1 year, once unlocked, there could be heavy selling pressure in the following years. ⚠️ Staking and full on-chain economy are not fully activated yet: ▫️ This limits natural demand for the MON token. ⚠️ Security risks of a new blockchain: ▫️ Every new chain faces high security risk in its early months (bugs, attacks, VM issues, network problems).
