Canton Tokenomics ( $CCUSDT.P ):
🟡 CC (Canton Coin) is the native token of the Canton Network.
🔶️ The token economy is based on a model called Burn-Mint Equilibrium.
Under this model:
▫️A portion of tokens is consumed or burned when the network is used.
▫️At the same time, new tokens are minted to reward validators and network participants.
❕️This structure makes the network's economy highly dependent on actual usage.
🔶️ As of June 2026, the circulating supply of CC is estimated to be around 35 billion tokens, although the exact supply and economic policies may evolve over time through network governance and technical upgrades.
🟡 The primary utilities of CC include:
✅️ Paying transaction fees
✅️ Covering data storage and processing costs
✅️ Securing the network
✅️ Rewarding validators
✅️ Participating in governance
✅️ Supporting the operation of the Global Synchronizer
🔶️ Simply put, the greater the network usage, the higher the demand for CC.
❗️Currently, most network rewards are distributed among validators, active applications, and ecosystem development initiatives.
